Abstract
Provides advice on legislation, procedures and good practice in development management in Northern Ireland. Discusses the issues relating to development proposals affecting listed buildings, conservation areas, areas of townscape/village character, historic monuments, archaeological sites, historic parks, historic gardens and demesnes, highlighting: the legislative context of listed buildings and conservation areas; appealing refusal of/conditions on listed building consents and conservation area consents; enforcement for listed buildings and conservation areas; areas of townscape character; non designated heritage assets; design and access statements; archaeological sites and monuments; historic parks, gardens and demesne.
