Abstract
Covers the indicators developed to assess progress against the Natural Environment White Paper which is the Government’s vision for the natural environment over the next 50 years. Includes the following indicators: species in the wider countryside; water quality; marine ecosystem integrity; priority species; land use; natural stocks; raw material consumption; value of ecosystem services; integrating biodiversity and natural environment considerations into business activity; public engagement with the natural environment; environmental quality and health.
