Abstract
Presents industry guidance for designers, installers and approving authorities within the UK on smoke control and preventing smoke spreading through buildings. Looks at smoke control methods, key responsibilities, different types of systems, relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice, performance criteria, interaction with fire protection systems and other building systems, and maintenance.
