Presents best practice for safe installation, addressing management of health and safety, safe working method statements and pre-start checks, training and certification and design stage considerations. Establishes roles and responsibilities for the contractor, company, and foreman. Explores transportation and storage of components, site access, and the safe use of lifting equipment. Also reflects on movement of units by other means, additional on site works, access to work area, work at height, and protection against falls.
