Abstract
Recommendations for the assessment of outer cladding of wall construction with a drained and/or ventilated cavity. Relative to fire safety assessments carried out on existing buildings of more than six storeys, or more than 18m in height. The guidance excludes curtain wall constructions, external wall insulation systems, or walls consisting of a sandwich panel, supported from a structural frame.
