Abstract

Selects the main principles and application rules of Eurocodes relevant to the design of the common forms of steel building structure in the UK from BS EN 1993-1-1 and the accompanying National Annex. Aspects relating to actions on buildings, materials, calculations, ultimate limit states, serviceability limit states and connections are detailed. Updated to reflect changes to default steel grades used in the UK.
