Abstract
Comprises the UK Government's response to the House of Commons Women and Equalities Committee's report into disability and the built environment. This report investigated how access and inclusion in the building environment could be improved for disabled people and covered better strategic leadership by Government, the development of sound local plans where consent is only given if sufficient provision for accessibility is included, accessible housing and inclusive streetscapes.
