Abstract
Presents the consultation documents seeking views on improving clarity and usability of the fire safety guidance within the building regulations and the approved documents for England. The main revisions in the draft Approved Document B1 Dwellings and Approved Document B2 Buildings other than dwellings relate to restricting assessments in lieu of tests and use of combustible materials in external walls of high-rise buildings.
