Abstract
Describes the legal requirements for those with responsibility for ensuring fire safety in certain premises providing sleeping accommodation in Scotland. Covers how to carry out a fire safety risk assessment, managing fire safety, reducing the likelihood of fire, restricting the spread of fire and smoke, means of escape, detection and warning and equipment for fire fighting.
