Publication Year

Document Status
Withdrawn
Abstract
Details the updated requirements for using the Accident and Incident Reporting System (AIRS) called AIRSweb. Applicable to contractors and service providers on major project schemes, network delivery, development asset support and DBFO networks.
Document History
Superseded by GG 128 Requirements for reporting incidents, events and undesirable circumstances: health, safety, wellbeing, structural and environmental (formerly IAN 128/15/Ar/B/C) (HE, 2018). Supersedes IAN 128/15/B Highways England supply chain health and safety incident reporting (HA, 2018). Interim Advice Notes (IANs) are issued by the Highways England from time to time. They contain specific Guidance, which shall only be used in connection with works on motorways and trunk roads in England, subject to any specific implementation instructions contained within an IAN. Whilst IANs must be read in conjunction with the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Manual of Contract Documents for Highway Works (MCHW) for the above works, and may incorporate amendments or additions to documents in these manuals, they are not part of the DMRB or MCHW.
