Abstract
The implementation plan sets out how the recommendations from the Hackitt review into building regulations and fire safety will be met and exceeded, in terms of an effective and accountable regulatory framework, standards and guidance that are easy to use and understand, with improved information on testing, labelling and marketing of construction products, amended guidance relating to the use of desktop studies and a ban on the use of combustible materials for external wall systems on high-rise residential buildings over 18m.
