Abstract
Sets out definitions, requirements, quality index (QI) formulae and methodologies for the operation of CHPQA, which is an initiative by the Government to encourage wider practical application of Good Quality Combined Heat and Power, Community Heating and Alternative Fuel technologies.

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy resulted from a merger between the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) in July 2016.
