Abstract
Provides guidance for complying with the building regulations and in particular standards 6.3 to 6.6 in Section 6 (energy) of the 2015 Non-domestic Technical Handbook. Covers Gas, oil and biomass-fired boilers, heat pumps, gas and oil-fired warm air or radiant heaters, combined heat and power and community heating, direct electric space heating, domestic hot water, comfort cooling, air distribution, pipework and ductwork insulation, lighting and heating and cooling system circulators and water pumps.

Any reference to the Building Regulations in this guide is to the Building (Scotland) Regulations 2004 (as amended).
