Abstract

Applies to the permanent installation in existing buildings of new passenger and goods/passenger lifts, where some of the requirements of BS EN 81-20:2014 cannot be met due to limitations enforced by building constraints. Provides alternative solutions. Also gives a list of significant hazards, details safety requirements and/or protective measures as well as verification of safety requirements and/or protective measures and includes information for use.
