Provides guidance on how local development plans in Wales can be submitted. Covers: Service Level Agreement, submission and validation; the examination library and examination website; the LDP; plan revision or replacement; post-deposit 'focussed' and minor changes; representations and the consultation report; the evidence base; engaging with representors; withdrawn representations; and the role of the Welsh Government in the examination process.

The Planning Inspectorate Wales division dealt with planning appeals, national infrastructure planning applications, examinations of local plans and other planning-related and specialist casework in Wales. Its functions were taken over by the Welsh Government in October 2021 and it is now known as Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW).
