Abstract
Summarises the responses and comments received and presents the Government response to the 2018 consultation looking to improve clarity of the fire safety guidance within the building regulations and the approved documents for England. New clarified versions of Approved Document B1 Dwellings and Approved Document B2 Buildings other than dwellings were published July 2019 and take effect from 30 August 2019. The documents include technical amendments issued between November 2018 and April 2019.
