BS EN 12350-4:2019 Testing fresh concrete. Degree of compactability

Abstract
Determines the consistence of fresh concrete by measuring the degree of compactability. A container is carefully filled, to avoid compaction of the fresh concrete, the top surface is levelled off with the top of the container and then is compacted using vibration. The distance from the top of the container to the surface of the compacted concrete is measured. Covers: apparatus; sampling; procedure; expression of results; test report; and precision.
