Abstract
Establishes methods for calculating traffic loading used in road pavement design. Covers commercial vehicle flows in new and existing road schemes, looks at the design period, growth and wear factors, the percentage of commercial vehicles in the heaviest loaded lanes and in other lanes and the design traffic.
