Abstract
Provides background information on the various renewable energy technologies that may come forward in Northern Ireland and is designed to contribute to the development management process. Should be read in conjunction with Planning Policy Statement 18 ‘Renewable Energy’ which sets out the Department’s planning policy for development that generates energy from renewable resources and that requires the submission of a planning application.
