Abstract
Comprises updates from the neighbourhood planning team in the Department for Communities and Local Government. Focuses on neighbourhood planning (NP) including: recent planning consultations - Planning for the Future white paper; additional support for urban and deprived areas; additional support - increased basic grant; interview with local planning authority - Cornwall; first homes consultation update; community infrastructure levy update; neighbourhood planning referendums and local elections update; NP research update; recent planning reform - Business and Planning Act 2020, preventing loss of cultural venues and planning conditions, changes to Use Classes; and NP planning champion.
