Minimum standards to improve the quality of district heating projects from concept to operation; addressing preparation and briefing, feasibility, design, construction and installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance, and customer expectations and obligations.

Supersedes 'Heat networks: code of practice for the UK. Raising standards for heat supply (including June 2017 amendment)' (CIBSE, 2018). A project sheet checklist in MS Excel spreadsheet format is also available. This cannot be delivered through the Construction Information Service, please contact CIBSE to obtain it. This code of practice is a joint project between the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and the Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE).
