Abstract
Provides supplementary information for the design of buildings and civil engineering works covering applications involving austenitic, austenitic-ferritic and ferritic stainless steels.
Document History
Superseded by BS EN 1993-1-4:2025. This document is considered to be a first generation Eurocode and is the applicable standard for building and civil engineering works constructed in the UK. A period now exists to prepare for the transition between first and second generation Eurocodes. First generation Eurocodes will be withdrawn by BSI on 30 March 2028 and will be replaced by second generation Eurocodes. Supersedes BS EN 1993-1-4:2006+A1:2015. To enable EN 1993-1-4+A2:2020 to be used in the UK, the latest version of the NA to this Standard containing these NDPs should also be used. At the time of publication, it is NA+A1:2015 to BS EN 1993-1-4:2006+A1:2015. Amendment dated 31 December 2015 - Implementation of CEN amendment A1:2015. Amendment dated 28 February 2021 - Implementation of CEN amendment A2:2020
