Abstract
Reports on a project to develop a Scotland wide planning policy specifically relating to Section 3F of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997. This involves the design of development avoiding greenhouse gas emissions through use of low and zero carbon generating technologies, and how planners can determine reductions in emissions have been met.
