Abstract
Outlines the monitoring programmes to be used to provide the evidence to support the 2024 assessment of progress towards achieving Good Environmental Status (GES) within the UK Marine Strategy area. GES involves protecting the marine environment, preventing its deterioration and restoring it where practical, while using marine resources sustainably.
