Abstract
Notification and summary for local authority chief executives of an extension to the types of applications for building warrant to be notified to Building Standards Division under section 34 of the Building (Scotland) act 2003. Updates the previous requests for notifications issued in 2005 and 2018. This new update further extends the types of applications for building warrants to be notified, from 1 April 2021. Details in Annex A set out the background to the changes required, changes to published guidance, changes to process and notification to BSD.
