Abstract

Comprises guidance detailing the provisions of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Scotland) Order 1992 (as amended) which apply to marine and freshwater finfish and shellfish developments. Covers: prior notification, prior approval and withdrawal of permitted development rights (PDR); habitats regulations and appropriate assessment; summary of changes to permitted development rights introduced by the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development and Use Classes) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2020; the planning boundary; fallow fish farms and existing equipment; conditions under which each PDR may be exercised; fees; changes permitted without prior notification; description of permitted development rights; planning authority consultation guidance; inability or failure to comply with conditions; further advice; and enquiries.
