Abstract
The Domestic technical handbook provides practical guidance to meet building regulations requirements for the conservation of fuel and power, furthering sustainable development and ensuring the health, safety, welfare and convenience of people in and around buildings.

Was also partially superseded by Building standards technical handbook 2022: non-domestic buildings (Interim publication) (Scottish Government, 2022). Supersedes Scottish Government Technical Handbook - 2019 - Non-Domestic. Supersedes Scottish Government Technical Handbook - 2019 - Domestic. The April 2021 Addendum introduces two small but specific additional changes within Section 2 fire on the use of Category 3 MCM cladding and BS 8414 fire tests.
