Abstract
Presents the 5 year review for Approved Document Part R of the Building Regulations 2010. Describes the context for the 5 year review and alternative options for future reviews. Explores the need for the regulation and how other EU member states have implemented the requirements. Looks at the objectives of the underlying directive, aiming to reduce the costs of high-speed electronic communications, and whether they have been achieved and if they are still appropriate.
