Summarises legislation, guidance and best practice available in 2011 relating to fire safety in purpose-built blocks of flats. It is no longer considered comprehensive and will be updated by Home Office in 2022 but has been released for reference purposes for fire safety professionals. Some text has been redacted relating to personal emergency evacuation plans while the responses to a 2021 consultation are being analysed.
