Abstract
Sets out updated fire safety guidance for conducting fire risk assessments in existing care homes. Looks at the assessment process, with sections covering residents and staff, managing fire safety, reducing the likelihood of fire, restricting fire and smoke spread, means of escape, fire detection and warning, fire fighting and fire and rescue service facilities.
