Abstract
Offers fire safety advice to those with responsibility for existing non-residential premises under fire safety law in Scotland. It relates to the assessment of fire risk in premises, looking at: compliance and enforcement. There are detailed sections covering: persons the premises, managing fire safety, reducing the likelihood of fire, restricting fire spread and smoke, means of escape, fire detection and warning, fire fighting equipment, fire and rescue service facilities and includes case studies.
