Abstract
Aims to raise awareness of the fact that powered smoke extract fans need to be maintained correctly so that they can carry on providing the highest possible smoke protection and reassurance. Includes a flowchart covering fan maintenance and replacement, discusses fan and motor health check considerations and testing and provides examples of routine maintenance checklists.
