Abstract
The Domestic technical handbook provides practical guidance to meet building regulations requirements for the conservation of fuel and power, furthering sustainable development and ensuring the health, safety, welfare and convenience of people in and around buildings.

Supersedes Building Standards Technical Handbook 2022: Domestic (For use between 1 June 2022 and 31 January 2023 updating Section 0 (general), Section 2 (Fire) and Appendix A (definitions)) (Scottish Government, 2022). Comes into force 1 December 2022. For designers seeking to comply with the standards or to submit a building warrant on or after 1 December.
