Abstract
Designed to support local authorities in carrying out their local air quality management (LAQM) duties under the Environment Act 1995 as amended by the Environment Act 2021, the Environment (Northern Ireland) Order 2002, and subsequent regulations. Covers the technical review and assessment process for determining air quality levels and includes information on air quality action plans; annual status report (England) and annual progress report (Scotland and Wales); progress report for Northern Ireland; updating and screening assessment for Northern Ireland; detailed assessments for Northern Ireland; technical supporting information e.g. screening tools, air quality monitoring, estimating emissions and dispersion modelling of emissions.
