Abstract
Aims to provide a general background to Inspectors on various types of opposed rights of way orders which are submitted to the Secretary of State for confirmation. Also includes three appendices which give various statutory definitions of rights of way, provide a definition of local authorities in the context of the relevant legislation and set out relevant primary and secondary legislation and guidance.
