Abstract

Provides practical guidance for complying with building regulation performance requirements relating to in-building physical infrastructure. Covers requirements RA1 - gigabit-ready physical infrastructure and RA2 - connection to gigabit-capable network, application, modification and exemptions, and connectivity plans.

In-building physical infrastructure (2016 edition) (For use in England) 2016 from 26 December 2022. Takes effect from 26/12/2022 for use in England. It does not apply to work in respect of which a building notice, initial notice or public body's notice has been given to a local authority before 26 December 2022, or full plans have been deposited with a local authority before that day, provided the work is started on site within the period of 12 months beginning with that day.
