Abstract
Summarises the consultation process and responses received, and forms the government response to the 2022 consultation relating to Higher Risk Buildings (Descriptions and Supplementary Provisions) Regulations. The consultation sought views on refining the definitions within a new regime to improve safety in high-rise buildings, to meet Dame Judith Hackitt's recommendations following the Grenfell Tower tragedy of June 2017.
