Abstract
Provides guidance for preparing contracts to be used for construction, improvement or maintenance of trunk roads and motorways. Gives the requirements for brickwork, blockwork and stonework and covers: cement, aggregates, water, mortar, lime mortar, masonry units, reconstructed stone, reinforcement, anchorages, dowels, fixings and ties, cold weather working, protection, and unreinforced masonry arch bridges.
