Abstract
Provides guidance on carrying out duties and the responsibilities for complying with the Fire Safety Order for those designated as a Responsible Person or as a Duty Holder. Gives information about the legislation and offers checks to determine who a Responsible Person or Duty Holder is, with examples for workplaces, or residential premises. Also covers shared premises, employees and resident, conducting fire risk assessments and recording significant findings, penalties and enforcement.
