Abstract

Aimed at Highway Authorities these guidelines focus on the use of passive safety to improve road safety. Areas covered include passive safety clear zones, performance class recommendations in relation to passively safe products and specifying passively safe signposts, lighting columns, signal poles, power supplies and electrical safety for passively safe street furniture.
