Abstract
As part of the Grenfell Tower phase 1 inquiry, a set of 9 National evacuation guidelines for full or partial evacuation from high rise residential buildings, are given to aid FRS operations and practice. Covers: timing of evacuation: building height and staircases; evacuation alert systems versus door-knocking; emerging evacuation methods; evacuation movement and vulnerable residents; evacuating vulnerable residents; information relating to vulnerable residents; behaviour; and information sharing amongst residents.
