Abstract

Sets out advice from the Planning Inspectorate on requesting a material change to an application after it has been accepted and before the close of the examination. Looks at: what constitutes a material change; key steps in requesting a potential material change to an application; information that is required with a material change request; the role of the examining authority; and the timing implications of making a material change at different stages of the process.
