Abstract
Provides an update on government planning activities. Covers: update on second staircases; consultation on locally-led development corporation; Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) reform; implementation of compulsory purchase reforms in the Levelling-up and Regeneration Act 2023; update on the implementation of build-out measures; changes to permitted development rights to support the agricultural sector and rural communities; public practice can help build local government capacity; neighbourhood planning design coding guidance; water efficiency in new homes; and new 'Planning for flood risk' training launched.
