Abstract
Provides guidance on retrofitting traditional historic buildings. Looks at how to achieve a responsible retrofit - the 'whole building approach', challenges of retrofitting traditional buildings, monitoring, maintenance, learning and continuous improvement. Also contains checklists, guidelines for renewable energy installations, and building case studies, as reference tools to encourage sensitive retrofit.
