Abstract
Establishes the required procedures for the design and refurbishment of road tunnels on motorways and all-purpose trunk network. Covers: road tunnel safety, geometric design, ventilation requirements, lighting design, fire engineering, systems for traffic control, communications and information, plant, electrical power, and tunnel service buildings and plant rooms.
