Abstract
This document outlines the fire safety requirements for buildings in Scotland, as defined in the Non-Domestic & Domestic Technical Handbooks 2023. These handbooks serve as the primary guidance for demonstrating compliance with statutory fire safety regulations. While they provide the standard framework for fire protection measures, alternative compliance routes may also be pursued where appropriate.
