Abstract
This document outlines the fire safety requirements for buildings in Northern Ireland, as defined in the Building Regulations Northern Ireland 2012, Technical Booklet E: Fire Safety. Serving as the primary guidance for ensuring compliance with statutory fire safety regulations, it provides a framework for fire protection measures. While this booklet establishes the standard approach, alternative compliance routes may also be considered where appropriate.
