Abstract
Describes the Nourish Hub, a community-focused facility replacing a former post office, designed to promote healthy eating, cooking, and engagement. Featuring a commercial kitchen, dining area, teaching kitchen, and rentable workspace, the space is open, accessible, and flexible, shaped through community workshops. A new shopfront with visible kitchens and a large dining space opening encourages interaction, while a kitchen hatch connects staff with the public. Robust, low-maintenance materials include stainless steel cabinets and countertops, complemented by timber and bespoke plywood furniture to add warmth, foster movement, and create a welcoming environment.
