Abstract
Explains the procedures established by the Building (Scotland) Act 2003 and the Building (Scotland) Procedures Regulations 2004. They apply the Scottish Building Regulations to building work and deal with other matters covered by the Act, such as dangerous and defective buildings. Also covers: application of the building regulations, building warrants to build, convert or demolish, the role of Scottish Ministers, completion, appeals, compliance and enforcement, building standards register, building standards assessments, dangerous and defective buildings, verifiers, certifiers and relationships with other authorities.
