Abstract

Provides an overview of fire safety requirements as outlined in the Building Regulations England 2010, Approved Document B Fire safety (2025 amendments), with a focus on rooflights. Approved Document B consists of Volume 1 (Dwellings) and Volume 2 (Buildings other than dwellings) and defines fire safety requirements which apply to buildings in England.
